Do you accept Purchase Orders from schools and businesses?
Yes we do. Please call us to place the order.
When is my credit card charged?
Your card is charged when you place your order. We follow the “Business Guide to the Mail, Internet and Telephone Order Merchandise Rule” published by the Federal Trade Commission. If you prefer to be charged when your order ships, please call us before ordering and we can make arrangements to manually process the transaction for you.
How can I be notified of upcoming sales?
Enter your email address in the Newsletter box at the bottom of the page and you will receive our weekly email newsletter, which offers articles, new product information and any seasonal or product specific discounts which may be available.
Are all of your products cruelty-free?
De Kulture takes the safety of our customers, the environment, and animals very seriously. All of our eco-friendly products are cruelty-free and never tested on animals!
Is everything on De Kulture sustainable?
We take sustainability and our environment very seriously, and we are doing our best to source sustainable materials in everything from our packaging to our products. We’re all on a mission to make the world a better place.
We carefully analyze our packaging, ingredients, and suppliers to reduce our impact. We are not perfect, but every day we are making strides to be more sustainable.
With the mission of bringing you low-waste products that benefit the planet and you, all that we carry in our shop is responsibly sourced and produced with mindful ingredients. Whether that means using earth-friendly materials, utilizing recycled waste, or working with small businesses that give back to the planet, we’re confident that any product you buy through De Kulture has a lower impact than traditional mass-production products.
How do you ship your products?
All of our products are manually packed and shipped in packaging that is 100% plastic-free. We use and reuse only recyclable and compostable materials for our shipping supplies. We also work with our vendors to ensure that products are shipped plastic-free, and we try to reuse their packaging whenever possible. So, we can proudly say that every part of your package can be composted, reused, or recycled.
What is the status of my order?
When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email. You will not receive an email confirmation if you only provided a phone number.
Most of our orders are shipped within 1-2 business days after the order has been placed. Please keep in mind that processing times may vary depending on holidays.
Your confirmation email will contain shipment details and your tracking number. It may take 24 hours for tracking updates to appear. If you have any questions about the status of your order, please reach out to us.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you place an order that isn’t quite complete yet, you will need to reach out to info@dekulture.com right away and request for it to be cancelled. Be sure to include your order number in the request.
Once we confirm that we are able to process the cancellation, you can rebuild your order with a clean slate. But please keep in mind that once an order has been dispatched and on transit to you, we will be unable to make any changes or cancellations.
Why I did not receive a confirmation with my order?
You will not receive an email confirmation if you only provided your phone number. Please make sure you leave your email address when you place an order, so you can receive an email confirmation regarding your order status.

What shipping materials do you use?
For packaging and shipping, we use only recyclable materials, including cardboard, paper tape, crinkle paper, and packing paper to make sure your products arrive safe and stay tight during transport.
How long will it take to ship my order?
Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. You should receive an email order notification after you place your purchase. You will not receive an email confirmation if you only provided a phone number.
Please expect moderate delays for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, as carriers work to deliver high shipping volumes. Thank you for your understanding.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We want to make it easier for you to reduce your waste, no matter where you are!

We make most of our products with our hands. So, no two are alike. But they're a set, much like families.
who makes this?
Machines are not our artists. Local artists who’ve worked with us for generations are.

Don't worry. Every piece can be washed by the toughest, roughest hands out there. It's a match made in the sink.
what if it it slips?
While our products are househelp proof, we’re afraid it isn’t gravity-proof yet.
is this safe to eat in? will the polish on the wood enter my food?
We have one word for you: Never. It's entirely food safe.
What about breakage?
If you receive a damaged product, let us know within 48 hrs of receiving the product and we’ll get it replaced as soon as possible. And while using it, it’ll survive everything except slippery hands.
Do you take things back?
We do. Everything except our word. Check out our return policy to know more.
Do you gift wrap these?
Sure, we'd love to gift wrap it for you.
how long does it take to ship things?
Well, that completely depends where you stay. But we try and do it as fast as possible.

How will i know that my order request has been received?
We send you an email and/or text message with an Order Confirmation. In case you have not received an email from us, please write to us here with your payment details.
How do i check the status of my placed order?
You can track your placed order via the link provided in the order confirmation mail. You can also check the Track Order page on our website - simply put your registered email address and your order ID to get the status of your order.
Cancelling & Modifying Your Order

Is there a cancellation period after receiving?
You can request for a cancellation with refund via email within 30 working days of the order delivery. We will require actual pictures of the products received showcasing issues with the said product. The team will review the details shared and confirm if it is eligible for return basis our Returns Policy. Please check our Returns Policy for more details.
When will i receive the refund for a returned order?
Refunds are processed within one week of receiving the returned goods.
I did not get a full refund for a returned order.

How do i place a return request for a delivered order?
A return/exchange request should be raised via email quoting your order number to our customer representative here.
Why was my return/exchange request denied?
Your return request should meet the following conditions to be accepted:
The products must be returned in the original condition they were received in, along with any bills, tags, labels etc.
Products must be in their original form and unsoiled
Brand packaging should be intact
Replacement of a product will be subject to availability of the product on the website at that time

Can i make a gift card for products?
Yes you can! De Kulture offers a digital gift card for its customers. Purchase a Sustainable Gift Card here. Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees.
How do i redeem the gift card?
You can use the 16 digit code sent to you via email during checkout in the "Gift Card or Discount Code" field. The value available in your gift card will be auto-applied.
You can use the value of the gift card till the balance is exhausted or the card has expired, whichever is earlier.
